Features

The E200F emulator is a software and hardware development support tool for application systems using the Renesas original microcomputer.
The emulator main unit case is connected, through the dedicated debugging interface, to the user system. The user system can be debugged under the conditions similar to the actual application conditions. The host machine for controlling the emulator must be an IBM PC compatible machine with USB 1.1/2.0.

Main features are:

Real-time emulation enabled with the maximum CPU operating frequency
- Allows real-time emulation of the target device with support for the maximum bus operating frequency.
High-speed download for large modules
- Allows high-speed download of 1.2M bytes per second
Powerful debugging functionality
- Trace function
  - AUD trace capacity of 256k bus cycles.
  - Maximum of 8 channels of the trigger points
  - Time stamp function, real-time data monitor function (max. 4 points /1Kbyte area each).
  - External bus trace function allows a maximum of 256 k bus cycles to be traced.
- Break function
  Can be set with the various conditions.
- Performance function
  Allows measurement of elapsed time point-to-point and event tracking.
- Real-time profile function
  Allows execution time of a function and number of the function calls to be measured.
- Source level debug function
  C/C++ language source level debugging.

*1	The E200F emulator is enable to evaluate I²C by using the system configuration with the Evaluation chip unit. In order to evaluate I²C, please install the H-UDI port connector (36-pin type) on the user system and use it along with the system configuration without the Evaluation chip unit.
*2	To debug E200F emulator with an MCU of SH7131 Group, be sure to select "SH7136".
*3	To debug E200F emulator with an MCU of SH7132 Group, be sure to select "SH7137".
