- IO Wizard serves as a jumpstart for software engineers or students starting Renesas MCU based projects helping them speed up their software development process.

- User input the device selection, system setting and peripheral operation setting through GUI.
- A status window is provided allowing user to see the actual source code generated in real time according to the selection on the GUI .
- After all setting are done, user can proceed to run code generation.
- The output files have to go through code compilation process before user can obtain the object file.
- Support of interrupt settings for peripheral functions (R8C devices only).
- Link to HEW feature is added. This feature allows user to insert the generated source codes into HEW.
- Save and Load feature is added. This feature allows user to load and save settings.
- Compatible with Windows Vista (R).
