SH7764
Product Overview:
SH7764 is high-performance microprocessor incorporating SH-4A. SH7764 operates at maximum of 324MHz, and achieves maximum processing performance of 583MIPS. FPU supports single- and double-precision operations, and achieves maximum performance of 2.3 GFLOPS.
SH7764 provides hardware support of high-speed processing of audio codecs (WMA/MP3/AAC) and 2D/3D image data, sine/cosine operations and vector arithmetic operations, helping to speed up 3D graphics drawing processing.
On-chip peripherals for implementing storage functions include an ATAPI controller, NAND flash controller, and memory card controller. Support for communication functions is provided by an Ethernet controller (10/100BASE-T) and USB interface (full/high-speed). Support for display functions is provided by a 2D graphic engine, LCD controller and digital RGB output function.
Utilizing the above functions, SH7764 realizes systems for digital audio and multimedia applications in a single chip, such as home audio equipment and car navigation devices, and enables implementation of high-performance systems at low cost.
SH7764 also incorporates other functions including serial sound interface for digital audio playback, serial communication interface with FIFO and I2Cbus interface, facilitating interfacing to peripheral devices.
