This LSI is a high-performance microcomputer made up of the H8S/2000 CPUwith an internal 32-bit configuration as its core, and the peripheral functionsrequired to configure a system.
A single-power flash memory version is available for this LSI’s ROM. The flashversion provides flexibility as it can be reprogrammed in no time to cope withall situations from the early stages of mass production to full-scale massproduction. This is particularly applicable to application devices withspecifications that will most probably change.
