Product Overview:
The H8/3672 Group was developed for smaller, cost-sensitive applications which don't require all of the functions of the H8/3664. The device has 16kbytes or 8 kbytes of on-chip single power supply flash memory (3 to 5 V operation), and peripheral functions such as powerful timers, an asynchronous/synchronous interface, a 10-bit A/D converter, and CMOS high current I/O ports.
The package of this device is the same as that of the H8/3664 Group. The device is downwardly pin compatible with the H8/3664 and has a subset of the functions available on the H8/3664. There are two different versions: the H8/3672, with16 kbytes of on-chip flash memory, and the H8/3670F, with 8 kbytes of on-chip flash memory.
The device supports the same debugging interface as the H8/3664 and the same debugging tools, including the E8 debugger, can be used to develop applications.
