Power MOSFETs

Products for a variety of applications, such as power supply, motor drive, high frequency amplification, and load switch, are available. We have products for each reliability level required for consumer and automotive electronics. We also offer small and highly efficient DC/DC converter ICs that integrate a MOSFET and its drive circuitry.

Power MOSFETs for General SW
A high-voltage (500 V or more) and low RDS(on) series. These low-loss switching MOSFETs suitable for applications such as power supply and motor drive have rich selection of packages. The DPD type has a compact surface-mount package, and it is ideal for LED lighting.

Built-in MOSFET Integrated SiP
These integrated power devices combine an IC and two power MOSFETs in a single package. They are ideal for high efficiency/high current applications such as computer and server CPU and DDR memory power supplies.

IGBTs

Renesas' low saturation voltage IGBTs help reduce the loss of a system. They make large-current applications more eco-friendly. We are continuing to improve usability by slimming down to reduce tail current and incorporating a built-in FRD to increase switching speed.

IGBTs for General use
600V, low VCE (sat), high-speed IGBTs. The RJH60F Series is optimal for PFC, IH cookers, and solar inverters. The RJH60D Series has an improved load short circuit tolerance and is optimal for inverter applications.

IGBTs for Induction Heating Cooker
These reverse conduction devices consist of an IGBT and a C-E diode on a single chip. They have high voltage tolerance (1100 V or 1200 V), and are ideal for voltage resonance for IH rice cookers and microwave ovens.

Diodes

Renesas diodes support higher performance, smaller, and lighter mobile devices. Renesas continues to take the lead with diodes such as PIN diodes that achieve extremely low capacity through an original trench structure.

Small Signal Diode
These switching diodes can be used in almost any electronic device. From general-purpose to high-voltage, a wide and varied lineup of packages is available.

Zener Diodes for Surge Absorption
Diodes of numerous voltages and packages suitable for reference supplies and other applications, including diodes that achieved a guaranteed minimum of 8 kV or 30 kV in the contact discharge test of the IEC 6100-4-2 electromagnetic compatibility standard, and diodes with bidirectional function, are available.

Diodes for Constant Voltage
These diodes are suitable for supply voltage stabilization of small power supplies as well as reference voltage detection and surge absorption.

Thyristors and Triacs

Renesas offers thyristors and TRIACs for white goods, devices for strobe optimized for digital still cameras and film-based cameras, and so on to support system development.

Intelligent Power Devices

We are continuing to expand our lineup of intelligent power devices (IPDs) in response to demands for greater system reliability with an overheat protection function that can easily be substituted for a power MOSFET, and a high-voltage, high-reliability IPD for automotive body with excellent load short-circuit reliability ratings.

Transistor

Renesas transistors offer support for customers' systems by supporting a wide variety of applications, from applications requiring ultra-small size to large current or amplification applications.

Built-in Resistor TRSs
Renesas' built-in resistor transistors have a built-in resistor in the base or between the base and the emitter, enabling mounting area and the number of parts to be reduced.

Small Signal TRSs for General Amplifier
A rich lineup of small package products suitable for semi-power as well as a variety of applications is available.
