Introduction

Renesas has introduced the SuperH Design Partner Program (DPP). This program involves a rigorous process of validating the resources offered by the Partner to ensure that they are already experienced and successful in delivering SuperH based products. The partners in this program have extensive experience of designing and supporting SuperH CPU cores.

Design Partners offer a variety of technical support services including:

  • SoC design services
  • Software porting services
  • Application software development
  • Libraries of complementary software and hardware IP

Dai Nippon Printing (DNP) are the first company to join the SuperH DPP.


Dai Nippon Printing (DNP) is one of the world's largest comprehensive printing companies and conducts a wide range of businesses, including publication printing, commercial printing, smart cards, business forms, networking and electronic components. The company is the top vendor of high-tech photomasks, produced by applying fundamental printing techniques and technologies. DNP accounts for about 48 percent of Japan's photomask market and 20 percent of the world market. DNP has around 35,000 employees and its net sales in fiscal 2005 were over US$13.0 billion.
