- 16 total mailboxes – 15 can be transmit or receive, 1 dedicated receive-only
- 16 hardware acceptance filters – one for each mailbox
- Automatic Remote Frame response

- Forced Bus-Off Restore function: Function that allows quick recovery from Bus-off state to Error Active state without going through regular process.
